Wayne T. Wyrick

Wayne T. (Cork) Wyrick, age 74 of Shippensburg, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Thursday, April 14, 1938 in Shippensburg, the son of the late Smith and Vera (Alleman) Wyrick. Wayne graduated from Shippensburg High School. He was formerly employed by SKF Industries in Shippensburg for many years. He was a member of Durff-Kuhn VFW Post #6168, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223 and Minnequa Club in Shippensburg. He is survived by two daughters: Kathy E.(Gregory J). Nezat of Shippensburg, Nicole M. Wyrick of Fort Lauderdale, FL; two sons: Thomas S. (Bunny) Wyrick of Shippensburg, Donald E (Janet) Wyrick of Dillsburg, two sisters: Lillian Kimpel of Carlisle, Martha Poe of Chambersburg, two brothers: William B. Wyrick ofShippensburg and Galen E. Wyrick of Mohnton, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Frank, Roy and Robert Wyrick and one sister, Dorothy Morrison. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 28 at 3:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend Kenneth Reid officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in Cork's memory to assist the family with funeral expenses.
