William Benjamin Wilson, age 88 of Biglerville, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the SpiriTrust Lutheran Village, Gettysburg. He was born Thursday, November 22, 1928, in Gettysburg. Bill(also known to some as Billy) was theson of the late John G. and Ruth (Baugher) Wilson. Hewas a graduate ofBiglerville High School and Penn State University.Bill was owner and operator of the Wilson family fruit farm in Biglerville.He was a member of the Fairfield Mennonite Church and a current member of the Bendersville United Methodist Church.Bill had served on several Board of Directors, includingthe Adams County Fruit Growers Association, the Historical Society of Biglerville, the Upper Adams School Board, the Mountain Orchard Cooperative and the Farmer's Association. He was also a member of the Knouse Foods Cooperative, as well asa member of the Freemasons for over65 years. He is survived by his sons, Mark M. Wilson of Biglerville,Steven J. Wilson and wife Judy L. Wilson of Elkton, KY and Brian W. Wilson of Biglerville, daughter, Lucinda K. Wilson of Derwood, MD, and.grandchildren, Nathan S. Wilson, Ethan J. Wilson and Emily L. Wilson.He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Musselman Wilson who passed in 2001 and his second wife, Delores Staley who passed in 2006. Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville. A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Bendersville Cemetery.The family welcomes all who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 44 Bowman Road, York, PA17408, in memory of William B. Wilson.
