William G. Woodson

William Godfrey “Ho” Woodson, age 69 passed away at Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was born on June 3, 1955 in Gettysburg, PA. William was the son of Robert Lee and Jane Marie (Sanders) Woodson.

William worked at International Paper for over 30 years where he proudly served as Union President and Chief Shop Steward before he retired. He was a member of the Upper Adams Jaycees and served as their president inthe 1980's. William will be fondly missed and remembered as a loving father, brother, and friend.

William is survived by two sons, Joshua Woodson and his girlfriend Rebekah Taylor, and Jamie Woodson; brother, Dave Woodson and sister, Cathy Woodson. He was preceded in death by brothers, Doug and Mike Woodson and sister, Deb Woodson.

Professional Services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Dugan Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM in honor of William. A Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services at the Funeral Home with a burial and committal service immediately following at Bender's Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1385 Rentzel Road, Biglerville, PA 17307. A reception will follow at Biglerville Legion Woods Pavilion.
