Willie James Felton, Sr.

Willie James Felton, Sr., age 63 of Gettysburg, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at York Hospital. He was born Wednesday, March 2, 1949 in Fort Valley, GA, the son of Jamie Lee (Turner) Felton of Gettysburg and the late Horace Felton. Willie James was employed as a fork lift operator by Knouse Foods in Biglerville for 35 years.He was a member of the American Legion in Gettysburg. He is survived by his wife, Ada M. (McKenzie) Felton to whom he was married for 44 years. He is also survived by two daughters: Laura A. Felton and Tammy E. Felton, both of Gettysburg; two sons: Willie James Felton, Jr., and Michael A. Felton, both of Gettysburg, and two sisters: Angela Felton and Mary Felton, also of Gettysburg; seven bothers: Horace Felton, Sammy Lee Felton, Michael Felton all of Fort Valley, GA, Dolphus Felton, Tommy Felton, Melvin Felton, and Frankie Felton, all of Gettysburg; 22 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 20 at New Life Outreach Ministries, 278 S. Franklin St., Gettysburg with Pastor Raymond McGee and Pastor David Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, April 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at New Life Outreach Ministries and also on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
