Willie J. Turner

Willie J. Turner, age 82 of Gettysburg, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 30, 2017 at Transitions Health Care. He was born Friday, March 23, 1934 in Fort Valley, GA the son of the late Lee and Willie May (Jackson) Turner. Willie was formerly employed by the Dobbin House in Gettysburg for many years. He was a member of New Life Outreach Ministries. His first wife, Johnnie V. Turner passed away 1996. His second wife, Florzell Turner passed away in November of 2016. He is survived by his brother, Weldon L. Turner of FL, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Turner, his twin sister, Jamie Lee Felton and sister Vera Dixon. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 10, 2017 at Amos Tabernacle, 2525 Mummasburg Road, Gettysburg with Reverend Ray McGee officiating.
