Zelma E. Taylor

Zelma E. (Kline) Taylor, age 88, of Arendtsville died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Chambersburg Hospital. Zelma was born November 1, 1921 in Menallen Twp., Adams County a daughter of the late Parker W. and Allie M. (Beamer) Kline. She graduated from Arendtsville Vocational High School in 1939. Before her retirement, she was employed by Knouse Foods Inc. for 17 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bendersville. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 392 of Gettysburg andBiglerville Senior Citizens. Zelma loved all things green, apples and a good joke. Her husband Carl O. Taylor died April 28, 2009. She issurvived by her two sons James R. Taylor and wife Kay of Shippensburg, and William C. and wife Linda Taylor of Merrimack, N.H., four grandchildren Debra Golden and husband Richardof Odessa, FL, Jeffrey Taylor and wife Rebecca of Denver CO, Lisa Andreasen and husband Jesse of Milford, NH, and Amber Paabo and husband Erik of St. Augustine, FL, six great grandchildren a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Howard Kline and two sisters; Edna Coble and Isabelle Sell. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 126 Church Street, Bendersville with the Reverend Robert S. McEllroy III officiating. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at DuganFuneral Home, Bendersville. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 449, Bendersville, Pa. 17306.
