Randall L. "Randy"
Rinehart, age 51 of Gettysburg died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at
Gettysburg Hospital. He was born October 25, 1960 in Carlisle, the
son of the late Merle W. and Mildred I. (Watts) Rinehart, Sr.
Randy graduated from
Biglerville High School in 1982. He had formerly worked at the HART
Center in New Oxford. He will be greatly missed by his canine
companions, Dora and Rascal and feline companions, Mouser and
Smokey.
Randy is survived by
his companion, Alma Myers; two sisters: Irene "Sue" Guise and
Martha Heintzelman, both of Biglerville; three brothers: Merle W.
Rinehart, Jr. of York Springs, Thomas Rinehart and John L.
Rinehart, both of Gardners. He was preceded in death by his sister,
Joanne Rexroth.
Professional services
are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Memorial Services
will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Dugan Funeral
Home, 111 South Main St., Bendersville. At Randy's request, his
body was donated to Humanity's Gift at Hershey Med Center so that
he could help others.
